The purposes of this research were to 1) study the media presentation format for the hearing impaired via streaming television in the case study of Thai PBS Open House program of Thai Public Broadcasting Service and 2) study the type of content of communication for the hearing impaired via streaming television. This study used qualitative research by using the method of textual analysis of media. The population and research sample was tha material of Open House Thai PBS media program on streaming television, totaling 81 episodes. Research tools include a synthesizer of media presentation format elements, and a synthesizer of the type of content communicated. Research statistics include frequency and percentage. The results showed that types of content in communication through Thai PBS Open House program consists of 1) the introduction to other interesting programs of the station in 21 episodes, 2) the combination of various content in 17 episodes, 3) the clarification of media operations in 13 episodes, 4) the explaining academic content in 12 episodes, 5) the news reporting and situational issues in 10 episodes, 6) the reporting and comparison in 6 episodes, and 7) The how to teaching methods and tips in 2 episodes. The format of the media presentation through the Thai PBS Open House program consists of 1) the motion picture in 81 episodes, 2) the Thai sign language in 81 episodes, 3) the slide picture in 72 episodes, 4) the closed caption in 21 episodes, 5) the video infographic in 13 episodes, 6) the opened caption in 6 episodes, 7) the animated infographic in 4 episodes, and it was found that no artificial intelligence Thai sign language was used in Thai PBS Open House program.

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the needs of people with hearing impaired in accessing to information services via online platform of mass media, and 2) to compare the needs of accessing to information services classified by gender, age, year of studying, manner of study attending, domicile, and registration of disabilities, which has used survey research, the research population consisted of 187 hearing impaired people studying in Udon Thani School for the Deaf, and the target group of the research was selected by purposive sampling, 23 people. The research tool was a questionnaire on demand for access to information services via online platform of mass media, divided into 4 aspects: 1) media content, 2) media format via online platform, 3) communication channel and 4) communicator. The statistics used in this research were mean, percentage, standard deviation, and t-test. The results of the research revealed that 1) The hearing impaired people in Udon Thani School for the Deaf had the needs for accessing to information services via online platform of mass media both in overall and in each aspect needs at the high level (Mean = 4.26, S.D. = 0.61), and 2) The hearing impaired people in Udon Thani School for the Deaf with different individual factors include: gender, age, year of studying, manner of study attending, domicile, and registration of disabilities were needs in accessing to information services via online platform of mass media are no different.

The objectives of this one-group pretest and posttest quasi-experimental study article were 1) to develop and find quality of the physical education learning media, 2) to study the students’ learning outcome before and after using physical education learning media, and 3) to study the students’ satisfaction toward the physical education learning media under the COVID-19 pandemic via social television to promote futsal skill. The data were selected from the 30 samples who are sports communication learners at Thailand National Sports University Udon Thani Campus by purposive sampling. The tools that are used in research, including 1) physical education learning media under the COVID-19 pandemic via social television to promote futsal skill 2) the test form of the students’ learning outcome before and after using physical education learning media and 3) the questionnaire form about satisfaction. The statistics in this research, which are used analytic, include percentage value, mean, standard deviation, and paired sample test. The research results were 1) physical education learning media under the COVID-19 pandemic via social television to promote futsal skill which was the quality is at the highest level (Mean = 4.40, S.D. = 0.60), the quality of content of media is at the highest level (Mean = 4.24, S.D. = 0.66), and the quality of media presentation techniques is at the highest level (Mean = 4.56, S.D. = 0.50), 2) the students’ learning outcome after learning was higher than that of before at the statistically significant level of .05, and 3) the students’ overall satisfaction towards learning with the developed case study was at the highest level (Mean = 4.40, S.D. = 0.58).

Leachate from a landfill has the potential to pollute groundwater. Mathematical models are often used to describe groundwater circulation, which can help planners choose suitable places for a landfill. The construction of landfills may have an influence on the groundwater supplies of adjacent settlements. As a result, impact assessments must be completed prior to the start of the project. This study used three mathematical models to simulate groundwater contamination concentrations with variable flow velocities. The first model is a groundwater flow model that estimates the hydraulic head of groundwater flow. The second model is used to calculate the groundwater flow velocity. The third model is a dispersion model, in which the governing factor is the two-dimensional dispersion equation, which yields the groundwater pollution concentration. In the simulation phase, we use the finite difference method for all models. This investigation considers the effects of industrial water usage, such as pumping water up to the surface, on groundwater flow. This research focuses on the effects of pumping water to adjacent settlements on groundwater flow and the quality of the water produced. Construction of a landfill should always be done in an area with a low hydraulic head. Pumping wells near landfills may also assist to reduce pollution in household groundwater. As a result, the calculated water quality in the faraway area was improved while groundwater volume and flow velocity were preserved.

This research was aimed to design new media and new normal activities for communication with 3-step storytelling for Gen Z to know about organization missions (a case study of a technology university in Thailand), to evaluate the perception of the sampling group regarding the developed media and activities which were done in accordance with the ADDIE Model which involves 5 following steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The research tools consisted of 1) new media and new normal activities for communication with 3-step storytelling for Gen Z to know about organization missions, 2) evaluation form for content quality, 3) evaluation form for media presentation quality, and 4) evaluation form for perception. The sampling group of Gen Z consisted of third-year undergraduate students from the Department of Educational Communications and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The data were collected in December 2021 from 30 students who were chosen using purposive sampling method from those who enrolled in the ETM314 course. The results were as follows: 2 new media were developed with storytelling in 3 following steps: features, advantages and benefits. There were 3 infographic pieces and 1 infographic motion media which lasted 2.31 minutes which were uploaded to the Organization’s facebook page. The activities for communication contained 3 steps and they were broadcast through Zoom Meeting application. The evaluation results were as follows: The quality of the contents was evaluated by the expert panel to be at a very good level ( = 4.81, S.D. = 0.24). The quality of the media presentation was at a very good level ( = 4.56, S.D. = 0.43). The perception of the sampling group was at the highest level ( = 4.68, S.D. = 0.48). Therefore, the new media and new normal activities for communication with 3-step storytelling for Gen Z to know about organization missions could be used efficiently.

Despite recent significant advances in big data analytics, there is substantial evidence of machine learning techniques that perform poorly when building prediction models. This research aimed to investigate the performance and effectiveness of machine learning techniques including Naive Bayes (NB), PART, Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Adaboost, and Bagging in order to advance existing understandings of model behavior with big data. A large dataset of hospital-based breast cancer from the SEER data file with diagnostic information was used from 2005 to 2014. To address outliers and imbalance issues, we used C4.5 and Synthetic Minority Oversampling TEchnique (SMOTE) to eliminate outliers and balance the dataset. Stratified 10-fold cross-validation was used to divide the dataset to reduce bias and variance of experimental results. Accuracy, G-mean (G), F-measure, and Matthews correlation coefficient (MCC) are employed as criteria to present the overall performance of the models. Moreover, sensitivity, specificity, and precision are utilized as criteria to show the insightful performance of the models. The experimental results indicate that RF is superior to Naive Bayes (NB), PART, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Adaboost, and Bagging in all criteria. Also, models generated from datasets with few outliers and balanced data outperform the original dataset in terms of insight and overall performances.

The objectives of this research article were to: 1) to develop and find quality of interactive immersive graphic video combined with fieldwork media for educational public relations, 2) to study knowledge and understanding in the Bachelor of Arts Program in Sports Communication of media viewers, and 3) to study the opinions of media viewers. The data were selected from the sample groups are 5 experts and empirical experiment and the survey of 40 samples who are students from school by purposive sampling. The tools that are used in research, including 1) the basic qualifications measurement form for communication arts 2) the interactive immersive graphic video combined with fieldwork media for educational public relations, 3) the quality evaluation form for media content information and media technical presentation, 4) the test form of knowledge and understanding, and 5) the questionnaire form about satisfaction. The statistics, which are used analytic, include frequency, average, standard deviation, and paired - sample t - test. The research results were 1) interactive immersive graphic video combined with fieldwork media for educational public relations is of the quality is at the highest level (Average = 4.209, S.D. = 0.62), the quality of content creation of media is at the highly level (Average = 4.066, S.D. = 0.47), and the quality of presentation techniques of media is at the highest level (Average = 4.307, S.D. = 0.69), 2) students had more knowledge and understanding after watched the media than before watched the media (t - test = - 21.02), and 3) students had an overall view of their satisfaction on the interactive immersive graphic video combined with fieldwork media for educational public relations at the highest level (Average = 4.381, S.D. = 0.45).

The purposes of this research article were to: 1) study health literacy among learners, 2) study disease prevention behaviors among learners, and 3) study relationship between health literacy and disease prevention behaviors among learners of sports communication in Coronavirus disease pandemic period. The data were selected from the 78 samples who are sports communication learners by purposive sampling. The tools that are used in research, including the measurement form about health literacy and disease prevention behaviors among learners of sports communication in Coronavirus disease pandemic period. The statistics, which are used analytic, include frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficients. The research results were 1) most of the sports communication learners were male (78.21%), which was the most first year class (percentage = 33.33%), and the learners were the most domiciled in Udon Thani (48.72%), 2) the sports communication learners had the best overall health literacy (Average = 44.47, S.D. = 5.27), 3) the sports communication learners had a fairly correct disease preventive behavior (Average = 45.17, S.D. = 2.85), and 4) the health literacy among sports communication learners was associated with disease prevention behaviors in Coronavirus disease pandemic period in moderate level for overall (r = 0.58).
